        The double air-gap 
        synchronous generator shall primarily be developed with and 
        without net coupling for use in transmissionless wind and water-power 
        plants. The cessation of the transmission doesn't save only resources in 
        the form of material, transmission oil and fattening and gondola lower 
        the mechanical losses but can be executed by wind power plants more 
        easily due to the weight and volume saving. The necessary bearings can 
        be integrated into the generator at water turbines. The erecting field 
        of this machine isn't built up by supplied electrical energy but 
        produced by permanent magnets which a higher degree of effectiveness 
        arises from. The otherwise usual voltage system converter unit is
